Thanks for George Kocan for this report!
Wheaton Hosts Revolution School, by George Kocan Conservatives in western DuPage Co. had the exceptional opportunity to learn how to execute their own revolution. Last Saturday afternoon, March 15, they came out to the Wheaton Community Center for the "R3volution Leadership School," where they heard activists John Tilman and Bruno Behrend speak. Tilman, who calls himself a "conservitarian," provided an analysis of the politics and the media in Illinois. He pointed out that the politicians often change their views after election because the Left has the resources to exert enormous pressure for their favorite issues. Conservatives have not been able to exert such pressure at the same level. Behrend came up with a different kind of analysis. He has concluded that the Republicans have become so corrupt in selling out to the Democrats, that serious discussion of a third party is in order. He also advocates a constitutional convention for Illinois as a remedy for the problem. Behrend has devoloped his own methods for putting pressure on the elected officials. He has his own blog, www.ExtremeWisdom.com and his own radio program by the same name on WKRS (1220 AM), 10am to 12am, Mon. - Fri. Most of the attendees appeared quite young to this reporter (although that is not so hard to do anymore). That means the future is not as bleak as the pessimists like to predict.
