You will know it is us because we will be handing ou t Save Hotel Penn fliers and possibly stickers. If someones says its a "260 0 Meeting" then you are at the right place\, because we are going to be usi ng a friend's meeting space to discuss about Save Hotel Penn\, many of whic h these "2600 Meeting" people are also interested in our cause.\n\nWe will discuss the upcoming full board meeting at FIT on November 8th\, ideas for promoting our selfs and if or not we should hold a strike in front of the H otel Penn to give more direct public awareness of our cause!\n\nSee you all there! Bring ideas and full of spirit!\n\n\n--Directions--\n\nThe easiest way by far for most people in the area to get to Citigroup is to take the s ubway.\n\nFrom Pennsylvania (commonly known as Penn) Station\, and from the New York City Port Authority\, the E train is quickest and easiest. Just h op on an uptown (meaning northbound - uptown means North and downtown means South) E train\, and get off at the Lexington Avenue station.\n\nLexington Avenue Subway Station exits right underneath the Citigroup building\, just outside the doors\, in their small outdoor corner patio thing. You exit th e station\, and you?re standing at the front doors. It couldn?t be simpler! \n\nFrom Grand Central Station\, take the uptown 6 train just one stop to t he Lexington Avenue station. Or\, just walk one block East to Lexington Ave nue\, and then eight blocks uptown (North) on Lexington Avenue\, and you?ll reach 53rd and Lexington. Citigroup is the corner with wide stairs leading downward into a cut-out corner of the building.\n\n\n--Important Notices-- \n\nDue to the building?s landmark status(landmark status is our first goal for Hotel Penn)\, its occupation by a large financial institution\, and th e current political climate\, there are security tables with airline-style x-ray tables set up. These are used to x-ray bags as people enter the food court. Keep in mind as you pack your bags for the day\, they will be x-raye d\, and they may ask you to open your bag and show the contents.\n\nThe sec urity staff also forbids photography inside the building. If the security g uards see you taking a photo\, they will likely tell you to stop. Whether o r not they have the right to do this is debatable\, and answers are current ly being sought through the proper channels.
